of the Fastest Offshore
Boats in the world beginning
at 7:00 AM - Friday,
August 6. Boats will
be blasting down the
Pamlico River at unbelievable
speeds to attain their
rights of saying "I
have the World's fastest
boat." Viewing
at Whichard's Beach.
Over 50
of the world's beautiful
boats will be parading
downtown Washington
at 7:00 pm, Friday night
and park along the newly
renovated waterfront
for you to enjoy.
Stop by
the Race Village located
at the Fountain Factory
on Saturday, August
7th, from 8 am until
5 pm to see over 100
Classic cars compete
for Top Honors, sponsored
by the Down East Rods
and Classics Car Club.
Complete your day with
an evening full of fun
and music from 7 pm
until 11:00 with live
music from the Catalinas.
Beach music, fast boats,
family and friends help
make this event awesome.

fans will get a taste
of what real horsepower
sounds and feels like,
Sunday, August 8th when
The Biggest, Fastest
Race Boats in the world
descend on Washington,
NC. Race day will satisfy
anyone's "Need
for Speed" when
these boats come blasting
down the beautiful Pamlico
River. There will be
a live remote to inform
viewers of the action.
First race begins at
1:00 and may be viewed
along the shore of Whichard's
Beach.
This premier
event promises to draw
large crowds from coast
to coast to view this
spectacular event by
land or by water. Fountain
Powerboats is pleased
to host this event that
will book hotels in
a 60-mile radius and
have local cash registers
humming to the sound
of success.
This event
is part of an international
race circuit and will
be covered by the Outdoor
Living Channel which
includes 60 million
viewers. Other media
- including boating
magazines and other
journalist will be present
to cover this event.
